How You Can Help
We would welcome volunteers who can spare a few hours each day/week at Prahladpur and Ghazipur to devote much needed attention to the many strays who pass through our doors. Volunteers can work hands on with animals and also pitch in with numerous other tasks associated with the running of the ABC centre. We are also seeking donations in kind for the following items:
Coolers and fans are particularly useful to help dogs cope with the summer. Similarly heat convectors (blowers) would be useful in the winters.
Dog chains
Dog coats are always useful in winter
Gas stoves
Refrigerators – any size, as long as they are in running condition
Bicycles are useful to help the animal care attendants get around.
Phenyl (preferably Bengal Chemicals) used everyday in kennels so consumption is on a grand scale
Cleaning powder and Vim bar for washing bowls
Medicated soap such as Dettol
