for details of our work) creating models of landscape level nature
conservation at varied locations in India. The organisation is
recruiting for the following positions:
Position: Field Office Coordinator
Location: Vijaypur, Dist. Sheopur, MP
Job Profile:
- Coordination of various livelihoods and conservation interventions of the MP field office;
- Overseeing capacity building of local community members as well as Samrakshan’s team;
- Liaisoning with government departments and other partner agencies;
- Reporting and documentation of field office’s programmes.
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Masters degree (preferably an M.S.W or M.B.A.) from any recognized institution.
- At least 3 years experience of working with rural institutions like Panchayats, SHGs, UGs etc.
- Good knowledge of both Hindi and English.
- Strong orientation towards conservation and livelihood issues.
- Good understanding of team management and organizational operations including accounting and documentation processes.
Position: Coordinator, Wildlife Conservation
Location: Baghmara, Dist. South Garo Hills, Meghalaya
Job Profile:
- Managing a team that is engaged in monitoring of wildlife, inventorying biodiversity, and conservation education;
- Perform basic GIS applications and design and oversee ecological monitoring;
- Independently handle documentation, monitoring and planning of the ecological aspects of the organization's intervention.
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Masters degree in any life science;
- Prior experience in management roles;
- Candidates from North East India will be preferred.
Position: Administrative and Accounts Officer
Location: New Delhi
Job Profile:
- Maintain organisational accounts, including PF records;
- Provide logistical back up to field offices;
- Undertake routine administrative duties;
- Desired qualifications and experience:
- Basic degree in Commerce;
- Prior experience in maintaining accounts.
